Winter Afternoon at the Zoo

Stretched out on a rock,
Lioness lay lazily,
Snubbing zoo-goers.

Since haiku is meant to be a depiction of nature, this is somewhat farcical. It's a depiction of a lionness, who acts completely out of character because she is completely out of her habitat and climate. I think haiku, which is meant to depict natural beauty, was a good medium to illustrate the absurdity of the lioness' state.

Probably my last submission for a while.
