through the hail
holly berries
lighting a path

Ground frost sparkles
on discarded beer tin -
roadside artistry.

First day of winter

In this dark morning
Street lamps reveals frozen leaves
first day of winter

Her visit--
a transient painting
on holiday's floor

Veiling her breasts
with the season's first snows--
the hill blushes

dusting of snow--
lifting my child to place
the faded angel
