wonderfully haunting photo, is it my imagination or did that change as I was looking at it....
ah i worked it out now, its the trees in the blog background showign through and then disappearing as you scroll down, very nice unintentional effect...
lovely evocation of the frosty new year.
"Haunting" is a good word to describe the poem, as well.
